Who We AreThe Daughters of the King is an Order for women who are communicants of the Episcopal Church, churches in communion with it, or churches in the Historic Episcopate.

Members undertake a Rule of Life, incorporating the Rule of Prayer and the Rule of Service. A Daughter pledges herself to a life-long program of prayer, service and evangelism, dedicated to the spread of Christ's Kingdom and the strengthening of the spiritual life of her parish.

Daughters of the King Officers

Province I DOK Chaplain - The Rev. Audrey Murdoch , with Donna Abramov, Province 1 President and (right) Phyllis Larson, National Council 2nd VP and former Prov. 1 President.

All women are invited to discern if they are called to this special ministry of Prayer and Service.

Junior Chapters of the Daughters of the King

Like the Senior Daughters of the King, the Juniors are dedicated to Prayer and Service. (We are a religious Order not a club.) In addition to the more serious stuff, the Juniors also enjoy crafts, fun activities and the warmth of a wonderful fellowship at their meetings.

Junior DOK are girls between the ages of 8 and 20.

The Motto of the Order

For His Sake . . .

I am but one, but I am one.

I cannot do everything, but I can do something.

What I can do, I ought to do.

What I ought to do, by the grace of God I will do.

Lord, what will you have me do?
