ECW to sponsor a child at Our Little Roses Orphanage in Honduras

On November 16, 2011 the Diocese of Western Massachusetts ECW collaborated with the Diocese of Massachusetts ECW and made a 3- year commitment to sponsor three-year-old, Martha, at Our Little Roses Orphanage in Honduras. Martha arrived at Our Little Roses in October 2011 with her sister Suyapa Elizabeth. You can read more about Our Little Roses Orphanage in Honduras here: http://www.ourlittleroses.org/
If you wish to help with this sponsorship past our 3-year commitment ECW will match all donated funds directed to this ministry. Contact Susan at ECW.wma(at)gmail.com for more information and documentation.

ECW and UTO 2011 Convention Report
A Few United Thank Offering Notes
Our Combined 2011 United Thank Offering was $13,267.52 with 36 Churches participating...Thanks be to God!
The Spring UTO ingathering will be mail-in. The UTO Board suggests the Sunday after the Ascension, this coming Spring, May 17th, 2012, as an ingathering date for parishes. Make check to: The Episcopal Diocese of WMA, with UTO in the memo, and mail by June 4, 2012 to: The Episcopal Diocese of WMA, ATTN: Esther Barker, Diocesan Accounting Manager, 37 Chestnut St., Springfield, MA 01103.
We submitted one grant application on behalf of our companion diocese, Kumasi, Ghana for 2012. UTO grant awards will be announced at the ECW Triennial Meeting in Indianapolis, Indiana in July.
