Clergy Renewal Leave

The Episcopal Church has defined sabbatical, or renewal leave, as “a time utilized by clergy in order to be released from regular ministries for the purpose of spiritual renewal, study, theological reflection, and strengthening of skills and ministries according to a well-defined plan developed by the clergy person taking leave in concert with his/her vestry or executive committee.”

Supply Clergy

Supply clergy are those clergy who are available to fill in when congregations are facing a clergy transition or when clergy take sabbaticals, vacations, or continuing education time. Parish leaders can contact these persons directly.
